Community Outreach

Dr. Stephen Hirano and staff work closely with local schools. We are frequently invited to speak to children about oral hygiene and dental care. We are always interested in getting involved and welcome your ideas.

We are always looking for opportunities to educate kids about good dental health. Let us know if you you would like for us to visit your school.

Canoga Park

Dr. Hirano is happy to serve as a children’s dentist in Canoga Park and looks forward to serving the community for many years to come.

Being a kids dentist near Encino, CA is a real treat for Dr. Hirano and they have enjoyed talking to the “little Encinites” who visit their office.

Rancho de los Encinos was a Spanish grazing concession and the warm springs were originally used by the Tongva people.

Being a kids dentist and children’s orthodontist near Granada Hills is a rewarding job for Drs. Hirano.

August 2012: Participated in an Open House/health fair at the YMCA in Mission Hills, CA

It’s reported that when Dolores Hope asked her husband, Bob, where he’d like to be buried, he replied, “Surprise me.” The Bob Hope Memorial Garden opened to the public in 2005 in Mission Hills at the San Fernando Mission.

North Hills

North Hills is one of the oldest communities in the Valley and was originally known as Mission Acres. Kidz Dental Care is happy to be a pediatric dentist in North Hills and looks forward to treating their little patients.

Northridge

Dr. Hirano enjoys treating children from the beautiful neighborhood of Northridge, California and encourages parents to make sure their kids see a children’s dentist on a regular basis.

Porter Ranch

Kidz Dental Care has been serving the community for more than twenty years and we plan on being kids dentists in Porter Ranch for at least twenty more. We are proud to call this wonderful neighborhood our home.

April 2013-present: Corporate gold sponsor at Porter Ranch Community School and will do classroom presentations from grades 1-8.

The Palisades Park is a 117 acre network of interconnecting trails in Porter Ranch and stretches to almost 3.5 miles.

Reseda

Parents looking for a kids dentist in Reseda need look no further. The staff at Kidz Dental Care always enjoy treating children and giving them a great cleaning and checkup.

Designed in 1939 by architect Lloyd Wright, reportedly with input from his famous father, Frank Lloyd Wright. The house is simple, could be built on a budget and has a roof angled to provide relief from the San Fernando Valley’s intense summer heat.

Tarzana

Dr. Hirano is one of the top children’s dentist in the Tarzana area. The staff at Kidz Dental Care would like to encourage the parents to bring their children into the clinic for a checkup.

In 1927 or 1928, local residents named the town Tarzana in honor of
Edgar Rice Burroughs and his famous storybook character.


West Hills

A dental checkup every six months is recommended for children, but some may need more visits due to irregularities. If you live in West Hills, come see the pediatric dentist and orthodontist at Kidz Dental Care.

The Castle Peak area was inhabited for around 8,000 years by Native Americans of the Tongva-Fernandeño and Chumash-Ventureño tribes . A village, Hu’wam, was located at the base of Castle Peak along present Bell Creek near the mouth of Bell Canyon.
